Association of Change Management Professionals® Ontario Chapter Background

ACMP® Ontario is part of a larger global community of like-minded professionals dedicated to leading the way change works. Our mission is to create a thriving change management community by enabling networking, advancing our discipline, and offering  opportunities for professional development.

Stemming from the success of the Toronto Chapter, ACMP Ontario launched on June 22, 2021 to better serve, support and enable growth of ACMP membership across Ontario.

​

The Ontario Chapter is committed to further expanding the change management discipline, promoting career growth, and facilitating professional networking and connection opportunities for our members. 

​

In 2019, the ACMP Toronto Chapter identified the need to better serve, support and enable growth of ACMP membership across Ontario. The Toronto Chapter launched an ACMP Ontario Growth Project team made up of dedicated volunteers who took on the important work of developing a strategy and plan to launch a province-wide Chapter.

The team engaged and consulted with multiple stakeholders across the province to seek their feedback and interest in the change. ACMP Ontario chapter was officially launched on June 22, 2021.

The Ontario Growth project team assisted ACMP Toronto with creating an emerging chapter, ACMP Ontario. The goals of ACMP Ontario are to:

• Connect beyond Toronto

• Provide opportunities for Provincial partnerships

• Advocate for change management

• Support entry routes into the profession

• Develop opportunities for senior practitioners

• Curate access to change management resources
